How Does OneLaunch Make Money?

OneLaunch is able to offer a free desktop software app due to the fact it is financially supported through multiple avenues of advertising partnerships & affiliate relationships. This article will list the ways in which OneLaunch makes money.

1. Yahoo-powered Search. Advertising revenue is generated through the use of OneLaunch's Yahoo default search engine. When you query within the OneLaunch software, you will most likely end up on a Yahoo! Hosted Search page on which OneLaunch will be compensated should you click on any ads.
2. OneLaunch’s New Tab Page. OneLaunch’s New Tab Page is jam-packed with value such as a search bar, top news via MSN, current weather data via Accuweather, and more.  In terms of monetization, we have an affiliate partner who provides us with the 5 shortcut icons under the search box, and also ad providers showing various ad units throughout the page (display, native, video, etc).
3. The Amazon icon (pre-pinned quick link) on the OneLaunch dock. If you click and use the pre-pinned Amazon Icon/URL on the OneLaunch dock and make a purchase on Amazon, Amazon may share a small portion of the sale with us.
4. The Slickdeals extension. To offer value to OneLaunch users, OneLaunch partnered with Slickdeals by preloading their Extension to OneLaunch's Browser in order to provide you with deals and coupons while searching the web. If you make any eCommerce purchases through the Slickdeals Extension, site, or modal from within OneLaunch, OneLaunch may be compensated.
5. Affiliate Partnerships. OneLaunch has a few key affiliate partnerships in which the team brings user value while also being potentially compensated for traffic being sent to specific 3rd party sites. Examples currently include MSN, AccuWeather, GamePix, and SodaPDF. Links to sites owned by these partners can be found in varying parts of the OneLaunch app (dock, apps, New Tab page, etc).
